Garstang Methodist Church is one of the 10 Churches in and around Garstang, that make up the Garstang circuit. Attached to the Church is The Mustard Seed, a Fairtrade cafe and shop and was one of the early centres that helped Garstang become the world’s first ‘Fairtrade’ town. A recent addition is Wesley’s Fairtrade cafe.
Built in the 1770’s St Thomas church is a warm light and airy building with an electoral of over 300. We are a large and dynamic worshiping community seeking to share the Christian faith with all.
Built as a congregational Church in 1777, we are now part of the United Reformed Church. In 2004 we celebrated the centenary of our Church hall with fully modernised facilities. We are a warm and welcoming all-age fellowship with a strong commitment to worship, community and care for the world.
We are a thriving evangelical church welcoming all generations. Whether you are exploring the faith or have an established church connection, why not try us at GFMC.
