Garstang is just a short ride from the Lake District, coastal Blackpool or historic Lancaster. After a short stroll along the Lancaster Canal or a hike in the fells you will soon confirm this is a part of England just too good to be missed.

BY TRAIN OR BUS

Your nearest stations are at Lancaster, Preston and Poulton-le-Fylde, with bus services connecting you to Garstang.

TRAVELLING BY CAR FROM THE NORTH

Leave the M6 at junction 33 and head south on the A6 towards Preston for about five miles. You will see a sign to Garstang on your left hand side by a petrol station. Follow that road into the town centre. Alternatively carry on down the A6 and turn left at the traffic lights into Croston Road. Follow the road to the end and you will arrive in the town centre.

TRAVELLING BY CAR FROM THE SOUTH

Leave the M6 at junction 32 and join the M55. Exit the M55 at junction 1 and travel north along the A6 towards Garstang for about six miles. You will go past the Flag Public House on your left, go over the canal and then reach a set of traffic lights. At the lights turn right in to Croston Road and following the road to the end you will arrive in the town centre.
