Gardening Club Programme of Events
Garstang and District Gardening Club has announced its latest programme of lectures due to begin this autumn.
The details were circulated by programme secretary Ruth Cowell (pictured) at the final session of the current series of meetings at St Thomas’s Parish Hall, Garstang, where guest speaker John Henshaw gave a talk on cacti and succulents to about 100 members. He was introduced by chairman Ray Pearson and thanked by committee member Bob Sutcliffe.

March 13, 2012: annual meeting and Spring Show
April 2, 2012: Gardening for wildlife by Ken Green
* The venue will either be St Thomas’s parish hall or the new St Thomas’s parish/community hall, depending when the latter opens.
