Garstang Musical Productions present “HOT MIKADO”
As part of their 25th anniversary celebrations, Garstang Musical Productions will be performing “Hot Mikado” from 19th to 22nd October at Garstang High School.
“Hot Mikado” is a 1940′s era adaptation of Gilbert and Sullivan’s popular 1885 operetta “The Mikado”. The score uses much of Sullivan’s original music which has been reorchestrated using a wide range of styles, including jazz, hot gospel, blues, rock and swing. High energy and fun is guaranteed in this energetic, funny, toe-tapping musical comedy.
