Sparky trader Garry says goodbye

Garstang retailer Garry Bulman this week pulls the plug on a long career in electrical goods retailing.

The popular tradesman, who has lived in the area for 35 years, is retiring from his Church Street business.

Garry, one of the most respected businessmen in the town, has decided to call it a day and retire to spend more time with his wife, Sue, and with family and friends.

He originally opened his business, Bulman’s. on Bridge Street, and ran it there for three years before moving to the current premises on Church Street 19 years ago.

Prior to Garry taking over the premises it was run as Hesketh’s, a ladies clothing and children’s shoe store.

Garry commented: “I’d like to thank my customers over the years in this lovely town. Garstang is a great place to trade. I hope people continue to support the local shops and services.”

The name of the new owner and the nature of his / her business has not yet been revealed.
