The Songbirds are a informal group of nearly forty ladies who meet every Monday from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm and sing just for pleasure. They are not a choir, there are no auditions, the members just enjoy singing and meeting up for a natter and a cuppa. A warm welcome is guaranteed, just come along and have a good sing.

The Beginners’ Bridge Club meets in the Music Room every Tuesday to learn, and play, Contract Bridge. We now have more than 20 members and are taught by experienced Bridge player Eddie Zielinski. Our levels of skill and knowledge vary tremendously, but it is all informal and very good fun. We meet every Tuesday afternoon from 1.30 pm to 4.30 pm (7, 14 and 28 May) except for the third Tuesday (21 May) when we meet from 10 am to 12 noon. We are delighted to welcome anyone interested in learning or relearning Bridge. For more details phone Pat Hansell on 01995 600397 or Mary Thornber on 01995 605210
