We have an extra Poetry Appreciation meeting this month on Thursday June 27th from 2pm to 4pm . Bernard Lord, retired GP and poet, will read his poetry and talk about his life in France . The session should be both enjoyable and entertaining . Entry is by a small donation to the Arts Centre .

The regular monthly meeting of the Poetry Appreciation group is on Friday June 28th from 2pm to 4pm . We have great pleasure in inviting local poet Rachel McGladery to read her poems for us. Those who have heard Rachel speak before will know her poetry covers a whole range of subjects from tender and lyrical to very amusing. We are a very friendly group and everyone is welcome.
